Pennsylvania Dog Sled Club was founded in 1971
with the express purpose "to conduct sled dog races,
and to promote the safe and humane racing, driving and training
of sled dogs." If you are looking for a great way to
get involved in dog lead sports, this is the club to check
out. Events span from the beginning of August to late February,
reaching as far as Maryland and New York.
Have you ever dreamed of glidding along the
ice or snow and just soaking in the natural landscape and
peaceful quite? Do you have an adventurous spirit? Are you
interested in trying something new? If you have an interest
in dog sledding, the Pennsylvania Dog Sled Club is a nurturing
and knowledgeable environment to begin your pursuits.
